Notebook ("the Service") is a private team workspace for organizing chapters, pages, and tasks, operated by Alkasid Tech ("we", "us"). It is available at workmemo.net and through the Notebook apps for iOS and Android, which provide access to the same Service. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. It applies equally to the website and the mobile apps.
Notebook is an invitation-only workspace. Accounts are created by a workspace administrator; there is no public sign-up. We collect and store only what the Service needs to function:
We do not collect email addresses, phone numbers, payment information, precise location, contacts, photos, device identifiers, or advertising identifiers. The mobile apps request no device permissions.
We use the information above solely to provide the Service: authenticating you, displaying your workspace content, assigning tasks between users, and applying the content-visibility settings chosen by your administrator. We do not use your information for advertising, profiling, or any purpose unrelated to operating the Service.
The Service contains no advertising, no third-party analytics, and no tracking technologies. The only cookie used is the strictly necessary session cookie described above.
We do not sell, rent, trade, or share your personal information with third parties. Your data is visible only to you, the other members of your workspace according to the visibility rules set by your administrator, and workspace administrators. Our hosting provider (Hostinger) stores the data on our behalf as a data processor and does not access it for its own purposes. We would disclose information only if required by law.
Data is stored on secured servers and transmitted exclusively over encrypted HTTPS connections. Passwords are hashed, sessions are signed and protected against tampering, and access to content is enforced on the server according to each user's role and visibility settings.
Your information is retained for as long as your account exists. When a workspace administrator deletes an account, task, page, chapter, or notebook, the corresponding data is permanently removed from the live database. To request deletion of your account or any of your data, contact your workspace administrator or email us at the address below; requests are honored within 30 days.
The Service is a workplace tool intended for use by adults and is not directed at children under 13 (or the equivalent minimum age in your jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has been given an account, contact us and we will remove it.
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, export, or delete your personal information. Because all content lives in your workspace, you can view and edit your own information directly in the Service, and you may contact us for anything else. We will respond to verified requests within 30 days.
If we make material changes to this policy, we will update this page and revise the "Last updated" date above. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
